Emily Clair

by Gilbert Misson
(Tasmania. Australia)

Hi Petter. thought you might be able to use some pictures of my latest project the (Emily Clair) built on a one metre fibreglass hull given to me by a friend. I have continued to build with fibreglass & Huon pine for deck beams & structural reinforcements. The boat is fitted with a Chinese made 12V 5 pole electric motor driving a 55mm three blade Raboesch propeller using a 12V 12AH lead acid battery. I am up to the finishing stage now, so that should keep me busy over the rest of the winter. Too cold down here in Tasmania for much else this time of the year.

Gilbert, that looks great! Thanks so much for sharing. Looks like she's got a really nice and sturdy stand too. That always makes any task so much easier to execute. Good work, my friend!
