Viking small boat "DRACO A"

by Vincent
(San Jose,ca)

This is a viking small boat used for short incursions. It's made entirely of materials I found around the house and took me a week to put together. The sail is a piece of one of my shirts, the oars are shish-kabob sticks, the dragon head is a toy my nephew donated, the hull and mostly everything else are popsicle sticks...it's not professionally done, but it's a hobby I much enjoy!

Thank you Stephen for your encouraging words and the tip on batteries, I wish I could submit better pics so all the detail can be seen but my phone takes crappy pics.

MMMM Excellent

Excellent work Vincent. Making something useful and interesting and fun out of recycled materials should be the theme of today's makers. I salvage electronic components and upgrade kid's toys. Some of them have been going for years. Good on you mate! Keep it up. (try replacing alkaline batteries with lithium cells from old laptops)
